Going to Disneyland!!!

I'm really excited - Curtis and I are going to Disneyland in January. So we'll celebrate our 2nd anniversary early I think - I love that we got married in January.
We are going to Anaheim for a conference so we decided to go a bit earlier so we can check out Disneyland :)
Anyone have suggested things to do?
Oh by the way, what's the normal $$ you spend on food there?

Rainy Day

This morning has been a rainy day - I'm glad though that I'm not overcome with the need to sit at home and just vegetate.
I love the comfort feeling I feel when it's a rainy day, I don't know, something about it makes me feel at home.
Yesterday we were able to pick up our camera - 2 weeks ago today we had a break and enter in our house. Not the funnest thing in the world, we were stripped of our office: computer, laptop, camera - and even our car key! Needless to say, we stayed at a friend's so our car wouldnt be stolen (the person also took our alarm key tag for the car). A few days later, the theif had the nerve to come back and take the car! Of course, we had reprogrammed the key but it was rather unnerving for the both of us. I'm glad it's been 2 weeks now, things are calming down a bit. I know for me I still have moments of paranoia like this morning in the shower wondering if someone was going to walk in the bathroom - I mentally psych (sp?) myself up to get ready and beat this person. Yeesh! Anyways, I'm safe - and I am at work. Which means I should get going, gotta find some (ALOT) of silent auction items today. Anyone want to donate anything?

The first post...

Well I wanted to join the world of blogging - not to follow the trend but I see the value of providing an outlet for one's thoughts but also for friends and family to know what's going on in our lives if they choose to read this blog.
I did try blogging awhile back but I'm going to give it a go again and see if I can have more fun this time round.
I'm happily married to the best man in the world - Curtis Wilson, and yes, I recieved my dad's first name as my last name. What a way to carry on the tradition. We are loving newly married life (it's been about a year and a half) and are excited at what things are to come.
Curtis just started his new job last week doing the same thing he was before but different company. We are both two busy people but strive to always grow and learn.
Today we went to a course at our church called "A Life God Blesses", and for the first time in a long time my brain was stretched and I was able to be challenged in my faith again. I am looking forward to developing my character and it should be a great time for us!
Well that's all for now on the first post - stay tuned!
