Four more sleeps till Christmas!

Wow, I can't believe Christmas is literally right around the corner. I'm glad this year we have snow and it's white - it helps with the Christmassy feeling.
And the warm weather (-6 to plus 5) has been a bonus.
Curtis and I have been giving gifts to each other starting Dec. 1, every other day he gives me a gift and the other day I give him a gift. It's been alot of fun doing this advent calender idea. I love it!
I'm also happy that the week's of christmas party's have come to an end (though I looked forward to them all and had fun), it was just so exhausting running from place to place after work. Now we have Christmas with the families in the next few weeks which I am also looking forward to.
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! I pray that God blesses everyone at this time and what a great gift He has given us - Jesus Christ!

Cutie...

I just downloaded some photos for a friend and can't resist showing off their cutie.

Dining table tree?

Snow was falling, we were all bundled up in the car on our way to get our Christmas tree on Monday - tis the season. I was so excited to set up our tree and it was off to Ikea to get our christmas tree. To our dismay the tree lot was pretty empty with only the rejected charlie brown size trees left. So we decided to wait until the next shipment - but we have been looking at getting a new dining room table for the last 6 months. We were still using our furniture from our bachelor days - so because we decided to walk around look what we bought:

So not exactly a christmas tree - but it will definitely get some use over christmas. Of course the table is not complete without the chairs but we only drive a matrix so we need to go back to get the chairs since we couldnt fit it in one haul.
Now I feel like I have a "grown up" table - and its not typical Ikea garbage, this table is actually solid wood and looks pretty nice. Anyone want to come over for dinner?

How ladylike are you?

I found this on a blog and tried it out for myself:

You Are 44% Lady

You're part lady, part modern woman.

Etiquette is important to you, but you brush aside rules that are outdated or silly.

How about you?
